One of the partners, Cemil Tufan, is a teacher who has studied the Turkish Language, Turkish Culture and Literature. Halil Tufan, the other partner, is a tailor. He has been trained in the discipline of Master Apprentice, a continuation of the "Lonca" (which is a guild of artisans and merchant of the Ottoman Period) tradition.
Our company aims to be active in all branches of tourism as well as in the branches of textile and agriculture. At present it is active in the fields of manufacturing and selling of ready-made clothing as well as restaurant management.
MANUFACTURING AND SELLING OF READY-MADE CLOTHING:
Our company manufactures clothing under the brand "Tufanlar Silkroad Collection".
The Tufanlar Silkroad Collection arouse from the aim to create a universal style using local and natural fabrics with authentic motives. This is a style where classical lines are mixed with local details and where nature is assimilated in all details. This style at the same is comfortable to wear and gives the body an aesthetic look. The materials used are a selection of fabrics that are 100 % cotton, linen and silk.
Today, the silkroad and its culture is far behind. The caravans and caravansarays on the silkroad are only a dream. Here in Kalkan, we are trying to bring the past to today by catching universality and contemporaneousness with the memory of colours and motives.
Our products are manufactured in the company workshop and presented for sale in our two stores, located in the center of Kalkan.
As a result of guidance from our clients, our size has been adjusted to European standarts.
Our company has formed an exportation substructure for the products that we manufacture. We are still in the process of meetings regardin this subject with our English and German clients. We are searching for a market in countries like Germany, England and France.
Our compan is looking for a foreign investment partner for production in the Antalya Free Zone. The required substructure for the investment of ready-to-wear clothing and exportation in the Antalya Free Zone is ready. Moreover, tax exemption and the promotion of develeopment, makes this an attractive zone. Production for this project is planned for Antalya and the market will be European countries.
